In between changing different jobs, he tried his hand at writing also and became quite interested in it. The first book written by him was published in the year 1948. His 199 book, titled The Dream Merchants, was based on the film industry of America right from its beginning and up to the era of sounds. The 195 book titled A Stone for Danny Fisher, was made into a film in 1958 called King Creole. Among the best known novels of author Robbins is The Carpetbaggers. It features the aeronautical industrys prosperity to Hollywoods glamor and travels from New York up to California. After the imménse success of thé book, author Róbbins also wrote á sequel in 1995, which is titled as The Raiders. As his writing career continued to prosper, Robbins came up with many other wonderful books in the later stages.
